Joe Biden Accepts Nomination as Democratic Presidential Candidate

Joe Biden US Presidential Nominee and Front Runner to become the 46th President

Day two of the Democratic convention saw a mixture of old and new faces from moderate to progressive. The star studded lineup included speeches from former US Presidents Carter and Clinton along with former secretary of state John Kerry and freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Democrats outlined their vision for the future along with sharp criticism of Trump and his administration. In lieu of the formal convention slated for Milwaukee, the Democrats held their first ever virtual convention.

Zooming in from all fifty states, early Biden supporters and Democratic up and comers were rewarded with prime time speeches. Day three will see Senator Harris formally accept the nomination as the Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate.

The event will be hosted by Emmy winning actress Kerry Washington best known for her portrayal of Olivia Pope, the political fixer on ABC. The night is slated for prime time speeches from Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, former Rep.  Gabrielle Giffords and former President Barack Obama.

The event will be capped off with performances from Billie Eilish and Jennifer Hudson.
