The debates of 2020 have been more about interruption than policies

The organizations for presidential debates has cancelled all remaining debates between Vice President Joe Biden and US President Donald Trump. Due to the president’s recent infection of COVID-19, Trump the super spreader refused to take part in an online debate forum.

The president refused the safer debate format because he prefers in person debates even though he is infected with the virus. The president demanded the current dates for the remaining debates go ahead as scheduled. The president then went on to suggest moving the final two debates to a later date in which vice president candidate Joe Biden declined.

It is unheard of to have debates of the frontrunners or the top of the presidential ticket cancelled. The infected president will resume his campaign rallies across the country despite his COVID-19 diagnosis.

Vice President Biden will hold a virtual Town Hall session where the American people can have their say and ask questions and voice their concerns.

Barring a cataclysmic disaster and the full suppression of voter rights by the Trump administration, Vice President Biden has opened up a double-digit lead over the infected president and looks to regain the presidency in the upcoming US elections.
