Trumps claims to be in an ongoing audit with IRS that is preventing him form releasing his tax returns
Every US president in modern times have release their tax returns to the American public, with exception to Trump. There has been widespread speculation that the president is broke hence the suppression of his financial returns.
Over the weekend, the New York Times dropped a bombshell of an article citing evidence from credible sources that Trump has not paid taxes in over ten of residing in New York. The article goes on to make several explosive allegations about the president’s wealth and questionable tactics used to manipulate the US tax code.

“With the leadership of Representatives Anna Eshoo, Bill Pascrell, Lloyd Doggett and John Sarbanes, the House passed a requirement that presidents disclose their personal and business tax returns as part of our H.R. 1, the For The People Act.
