“It is an honor to be part of Team Canada and to participate in the United States Marine Corps Trials! It is a great opportunity for us to train and hone our skills in preparation for the upcoming Invictus Games. It is also chance for us to connect with our allies from the six other nations, learn from each other’s challenges and triumphs, and build camaraderie and new friendships.”  — Rock Ferland, Co-Captain for Team Canada at the Invictus Games The Hague 2020

This is the first time that a Canadian team will take part in the competition. Apart from the event’s broader goals of promoting recovery through adaptive sports and developing camaraderie among participants, Team Canada will also use the opportunity to help prepare for the Invictus Games The Hague 2020.
