Nigerian Doctor Sues Saskatchewan Hospital for Forcing Him to Operate on Own Daughter

A Nigerian doctor is taking a Saskatchewan hospital to court after he was allegedly forced to perform life-saving surgery on his own daughter.
Dr. Amos Akinbiyi is suing the Saskatchewan Health Authority, claims that hospital administrators and staff forced him to operate on his daughter, who was in need of emergency surgery, despite his objections.
The doctor alleges that the hospital’s actions were a clear violation of medical ethics and put his daughter’s life at risk.
