Priorities USA’s New AD emphasizes the dismantling of The Affordable Care Act
As the Presidential finish line is only a few weeks away, Democratic Super Pac Priorities USA has increased spending in key battleground states to secure the win for Biden.
Priorities USA Action has announced a new digital ad featuring Ady Barkan, a health care advocate and founder of Be a Hero, holding Donald Trump accountable for his efforts to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and jeopardize the health care of millions of Americans.
Living with ALS, Ady is one of the 133 million Americans who risk losing their health care coverage if Donald Trump successfully overturns the ACA and eliminates the protections put in place by Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
“ACA” will run on digital platforms in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin targeting persuadable voters. The ads feature Ady and his family, highlighting that Ady relies on the protections in the Affordable Care Act to access the health care that keeps him alive. Ady knows Donald Trump is committed to destroying everything he fights for. By contrast, under a Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration, tens of millions of Americans would have greater access to care.
Voters continue to cite health care as a top issue when they head to the polls, and Priorities has maintained a consistent focus on the issue. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, the White House has failed to practice basic public health mitigation efforts recommended by the CDC and continues to pursue a lawsuit against the Affordable Care Act that would threaten access to care for millions of Americans. Donald Trump’s far-right nominee for the Supreme Court won’t even commit to upholding Medicare as constitutional.
