Indigenous Group In Ottawa, Ratchets Up Rhetoric, Compares Trudeau To Hitler

Ottawa – Today at a rally in support for the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs against the  Wet’suwet’en democratically elected councillors and chiefs the Facebook page of Indigenous Solidarity Ottawa makes a video comparison between Justin Trudeau and Adolf Hitler.

The video was produced using film from the final scenes of the Bunker which detailed Hitler’s last days alive at the end of the Second World War. The group has issued a call to arms using the Hashtag #ReconciliationIsDead #ShutDownCanada.

Adolf Hitler was the leader of Nazi German from 1933 to 1945. He was a fascist who killed millions around the world including Jews, Roma, gays, political opponents, religious leaders in mass extermination camps. This mass killing led to the creation of a term for killing on such a large scale to be called Genocide.

Justin Trudeau is the Prime Minister of Canada from 2015 till the present. He has passed legislation creating an official recognition of Indigenous languages; created legislation giving full control of Child & Family Services to Indigenous nations; invested $21 Billion in new money since 2016 for water, housing, health & education trying to get all services at the same level as all Canadians; and changed environmental legislation to give great control and say to Indigenous communities.

It is not known what process that Indigenous Solidarity Ottawa proposes, but tearing the world down will not make Canada a better place.
