This year, the Japanese Pavilion delivers an unforgettable masterclass in tradition, drawing visitors into a world where ancient martial discipline meets the warm, welcoming rhythms of community celebration.

At the absolute center of this sensory experience are the world-famous Hinode Taiko drums. The moment the ensemble takes position, the performance transcends mere music; it becomes a physical force. The heavy, resonant booms of the taiko reverberate straight through the floorboards and deep into the chest of every spectator in the room. Each strike of the bachi against the drumhead is executed with surgical precision and immense athletic power, painting a vivid sonic picture of thunder, wind, and enduring spirit.
