Barcelona Vs Lyon: UEFA Releases Line-Ups For Women’s Champions League Final

The official line-ups for today’s UEFA Women’s Champions League Final taking place in Turin, Italy; between Barcelona and Lyon has been released.  Scheduled to kick off at 19:00 CET, the game promises to be a nail-biting encounter with both teams fielding their best legs.

Coached by Jonatan Glraldez, Barcelona will be parading a 4-3-3 formation and will be captained by the attacking player, Alexia Putellas while Sandra Panos will be in goal. Other members of the starting eleven are: Irene Paredes, Maria Leon, caroline Hansen, Marta Torrejon, Mariona Caidentey and Jennifer Hermoso. Patricia Guljarro, Aitana Bonmatf and Fridolina Rolfo make up the rest of the line-up.

On its part, Lyon is managed by Sonia Bompastor and will be lining out in a similar 4-3-3 playing formation. With Christiane Endler in goal, the team will be captained by Wendie Renard. Other members of the team are: Selma Bacha, Amandine Henry, Ellie Carpenter, Catarina Macario, Ada Hegerberg and Delphine Cascarino. Lindsey Horan, Melvine Malard and Griedge Mbock Bathy are the others on the list.

This game is eagerly anticipated as both teams represent the finest that European female football can offer at the moment and it will be officiated by Lina Lehtovaara from Finland who will be assisted by Chrysouala Lourompylla from Greece and Karolin Kalvoja from Estonia. Tiago Martins from Portugal will handle the Video Assistant Referee(VAR) end of the game with assistance coming from Joao Pinheiro from Portugal and Paolo Valeri from Italy.
