Trump Administration Feels Threatened By Huawei’s 5G Technology

The US government has been a staunch adversary of Huawei and its 5G systems. The Trump administration has made several allegations against the Chinese cell phone company for being a major risk to US national security. Though no exact evidence has been provided to the public on claims made by the US; the Trump administration has taken extraordinary steps to hinder the tech giant’s implementation of its 5G system in the US and has ordered the arrest of the tech giants Chief Financial Officer Meng Wanzhou once she entered North America on allegations of violating sanctions against Iran.

Currently, Meng Wanzhou is being held under house arrest by the Canadian Government while she fights an extradition case to the US at the request of their Department of Justice.

Huawei has extensive experience working with GSM towers and has the largest network in major countries such as Russia, Central Asia, and India. They offer 5G technology that is faster and cheaper than any other cellphone provider.

It is widely speculated the US government is fabricating many of its claims against the Chinese company in an attempt of slowing its growth to make way for an American 5G provider to take its place.

The US is warning countries about what they perceived to be the dangers of implementing Hauwei’s 5G network into their grid. They feel China is harvesting the data from its users which can later be used against them in a time of war or sabotage.

It is important to note, that none of the US claims of been corroborated by the attempts of discredited Hauwei’s 5G technology in favour of American countries. It is also silly for the US to implement China will use Huawei to spy on its customers and risk losing access to one of the biggest electronics markets worldwide.

America is home to several of the world’s most sophisticated spy agencies, from the CIA to the NSA, intruding on the privacy of everyday citizens and the conversations of every nation. To be pointing the finger and making allegations against a private company infringing on the privacy of others, is the definition of the kettle calling the pot black.
