Originating in the late 19th century, Jehovah’s Witnesses emerged from the Bible Student movement, founded by Charles Taze Russell. Their theology emphasizes the sovereignty of Jehovah God, adherence to biblical teachings, and the imminent establishment of God’s Kingdom on Earth.
