63 Canadians Killed In Ukrainian Plane Crash In Iran

A Ukrainian official just stated that 63 Canadians are among those killed in a plane crash near the Iranian capital of Tehran. Foreign Affairs Minister Vadym Prystaiko says Iranian, Ukrainian, Swedish, Afghan, British and German nationals were also aboard the plane.

The passenger jet carrying 176 people crashed on Wednesday, just minutes after taking off from the Iranian capital’s main airport, turning farmland into fields of flaming debris and killing all on board.

There is no information as to why the plane crashed. Tensions are high between Iran and the USA.
