The City Of Winnipeg Was Safer Under Mayor Sam Katz

The violence continues in Winnipeg despite the Blue Bomber’s win of the Grey Cup which was supposed to heal our city in November. There has been another major incident of a shooting at the Subway in Osborne Village at 2 am on Sunday morning.

A man, aged 20 found at the scene had been injured by a bullet that was shot through the front window. There was glass on the sidewalk outside the restaurant. No arrests have been made.

2019 is finishing in a violent fashion which will likely continue into 2020. This violence follows another incident in Wolseley last week. The violence is seemingly spreading outside of predominantly inner-city neighbourhoods into richer communities.

Police are asking for anyone with information to contact them at 204-986-6219.
