Sask. Premier Scott Moe “I Wear The Crown”

Approximately 5,000 Crown employees vote to strike in favour of better wages at 12:01 a.m. Friday, October 4th. Premier Scott Moe of the Saskatchewan Party, refuses to meet all the demands of the people lead by Unifor for improving wages that reflect the cost of living.

“We believe that the employer offer of five percent over five years respects the hard work of Crown employees while balancing the fiscal reality of our province, and we remain hopeful that an agreement can be reached at the bargaining table in good faith,” Harpauer said.

Unifor is one of the largest unions in Saskatchewan representing employees from SaskEnergy, SaskTel, SaskWater, SaskPower, The Water Security Agency and other crown subsidiaries.
