Viet Nam’s used condom market is a multimillion dollar business
Viet Nam – Police in Hanoi Viet Nam seized 345,000 use condoms that have been washed, dried and put up for sale on the wholesale market.
Condoms are to be discarded after sexual intercourse and under no circumstance should they every be reused. Condoms are meant to act as defense against sexually transmitted disease and form of birth control.
Used condoms can contain sperm, sexual secretion fluids, blood, feces and can easily spread diseases such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, gonorrhea, even HIV.
Selling used condoms is big business in Viet Nam. With the economic down turn caused by the coronavirus, people are turning to alternative methods to generate income. There are many used condom outlets throughout Viet Nam and another one will pop up to take the place for the one that was recently busted by police.

In this instant, the used condoms were being cleaned in a dirty unhygienic shack behind an inn, where a woman was using creepy technology for recycling the used condoms. The used condom are collected, washed, dried and then put on fake penis and rolled up for repackaging.
For each kg the processor gets 4,000 VND. In the case of the 360kg of used condoms seized, the woman received just over 1.4 million Vietnamese Dongs or $80 Canadian dollars.
