“A day after the nation observed Veterans Day, the Democratic House once again honored the sacrifice and heroism of our veterans and their families by passing nine vital, bipartisan bills that strengthen VA and ensure the service members receive the care and benefits they have earned. The House has now sent the GOP Senate the strongest action in over a decade to address inequities and barriers to resources, benefits and services for women veterans.
“As the Democratic House works to defend democracy, we will continue to be relentless in our work to honor the service of those who have sacrificed for our freedom said, Pelosi. This year alone, House Democrats have held 32 hearings and passed 34 bills to help veterans and will keep up the momentum, solemnly promising to leave no veteran behind at home, just as the military pledges to leave no one behind on the battlefield. The work for veterans, their families and caregivers must be bipartisan and of the highest priority.”
