Trump voters are willing to follow him off a cliff even if it is to their own demise
Nothing about the Trump administration has been normal! Chaos, corruption, lies and dismantle have been the Hallmark of the great deal maker. To his credit, he has been consistent in destroying the GOP and all the institutions America so hold dearly.
The latest has been the US Postal Services (USPS) with appointing Dejoy as Post Master General. Within days of Dejoy taking the helms of the USPS, the dismantling begone. From cuts to hours, removal of mail sorting equipment and collection boxes are all detrimental decisions made to disenfranchise voters.
“To avoid even the appearance of any impact on election mail, I am suspending these initiatives until after the election is concluded.” said Dejoy after twenty states threatened to sue the USPS. He also indicated a stand by task force with resources will be in place October 1 to assist with election mail as it is his “number one priority.”
“US Postmaster General DeJoy’s announcement a temporary pause in operational changes delaying the mail is a necessary but insufficient first step in ending the President’s election sabotage campaign. This pause only halts a limited number of the Postmaster’s changes, does not reverse damage already done to ensure voters will not be disenfranchised by the President this fall.
“The US House of Congress will be moving ahead with a vote this Saturday on Chairwoman Maloney’s ‘Delivering for America Act,’ which prohibits the Postal Service from implementing any changes to operations or level of service it had in place on January 1, 2020 and provides $25 billion in critical funding to support the Postal Service.” Said Speaker Nancy Pelosi
Trump’s version of democracy has made the once great and powerful US look like a third world country being ran by an uneducated warlord. In 2016, the Americans gambled on a reality host prone to bankrupting businesses to be their president. In 2020, many of those who voted to elect Trump are willing to follow him off the cliff even if it is to their demise.
