The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 6–2 at Dodger Stadium, evening the World Series at two games apiece. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. opened the scoring with a two-run home run in the third inning, a drive that flipped the momentum after the Jays’ exhausting 18-inning loss the night before.

Shane Bieber delivered exactly what Toronto needed: 5⅓ sharp innings, allowing just one run on four hits, leveraging well-placed sliders and fastballs before handing the game over to the bullpen. Mason Fluharty and Chris Bassitt closed the door from there, steering the Dodgers away from late danger.

The decisive moment came in the seventh inning. As Shohei Ohtani faced the Jays for the third time in the game, Toronto mounted a four-run rally: singles and opposite-field hits by Andrés Giménez, Bo Bichette and Addison Barger extended the lead and chased Ohtani from the game.

Defensively the Jays were crisp, cutting off two would-be rallies and executing seamlessly on the basepaths, taking extra bases when opportunities surfaced. Remarkably, they achieved all this without George Springer, who sat out after his Game 3 injury, and finished the contest in under three hours.

With Game 5 remaining in Los Angeles, rookie Trey Yesavage is expected to face Blake Snell in what has become a pivotal swing game. After the draining epic of Game 3 and this clinical response, the World Series now heads to Toronto at full tilt.
